Apricots are stone fruits also known as Armenian plums. Yellow to orange tone, often tinted with red, similar to a small peach, its skin can be smooth or velvety with very short hairs. The flesh is usually firm and not very juicy.

Apricots are rich in beta-cryptoxanthin, a chemical that can prevent osteoarthritis and other inflammatory forms of arthritis. The magnesium in the fruit can also ease inflammatory pain.
