The flat peach also known as the doughnut peach, custard peach or Saturn peach, is a variety of peach flatter than other fruit of more popular peach varieties. Their skin is yellow and red with a pale yellow to white flesh.
Usually sweeter than other peaches, they are said to be more complex-tasting and flavourful, often described as possessing undertones of almond.
Flat peaches are harvested in late spring through the end of summer.
